![]() ![]() It is actually located on the busiest intersection in Broken Arrow. The Big Biscuit is on a corner location in a new strip center in Broken Arrow. I was warmly met at the front door by a charming waitress, who welcomed me, and told me I was welcome to sit wherever I chose. just tried in Broken Arrow, and had loved it! Due to the concrete floor and hard surfaces, the atmosphere is very noisy. Once the 3 large plates of food were placed on the table, all of these other items just had to go. I put the large bowl of creamer on a chair that was brought from another table. I moved the ketchup and hot sauce bottles to the floor. The 2 person tables are really too small with all the stuff on that table. I think the decor is called "industrial." The tables are close together although an attempt has been made to distance them due to COVID virus precautions. The interior of this restaurant is concrete floors, lots of small tables, wood walls and exposed ceiling. There is a patio seating between the restaurant and the next building. This restaurant in Topeka is small in comparison. That restaurant is big and roomy with large comfortable booths and big window on the east and south sides of the restaurant for natural light. The negatives ~ I have only dined at another Big Biscuit in Prairie Village, KS. He was present when we needed him, but never hoovered around our table. Nathan was very attentive to our needs for more coffee, more butter and syrup for the pancake. Our waiter, Nathan was Fab!U!LAS! He was so thoughtful and thorough explaining the meal options to us. We selected this time to avoid the early morning crowd of people. We were seated quickly when we arrived at 9:30AM. He wasn't a fan of the sausage patty, but he never has been a sausage patty fan, so think negative thoughts on sausage from his comment to me. He reported that the ham was fried and tasty. He asked for crispy bacon which he said was served perfectly crisp. My dining companion ordered the "big breakfast" which includes 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, ham and a sausage patty, plus your choice of a "big biscuit" or 2 plate-size pancakes. The cheddar cheese gave it a nice flavor. The sausage crumbles in the omelet were tasty without being overly spicy. "big biscuit" with sausage gravy and a choice of potatoes including hash browns or breakfast potatoes. I ordered the Mayberry which is a large (3 egg?) omelet with sausage and cheddar cheese. The best things about this restaurant include the friendly waitstaff, the huge portions of food and that selections on the menu for breakfast and lunch.
